We turn the needs of the poor into financial support for politicians dedicated to work for them.
We do this because 40 years ago, 41,000 children died each day for lack of food and medicine. Before the COVID-19 crisis, that number had been reduced to 8,500. Because of the current economic downturn, it is now expected these numbers will revert to where they once were. A terrible number of needless, preventable deaths.
Without support from national and local governments the previous reduction in child mortality could not have happened. Lawmakers play a big role in setting policy and prioritizing resources that can be used to reduce hunger and poverty. And now we need political support for the poor and hungry more than ever.
Butterfly PAC exists to make governments do more. And we hope to do this until the day when hunger and poverty can only be found in textbooks and museums.
Butterfly PAC is the sole active super PAC to only advocate for the poor and hungry. Through Butterfly PAC, those with little will have real leverage to influence politicians.
